Privacy Statement

Miwon Specialty Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’) establishes and discloses the following privacy Statement to protect your personal information and handle related complaints quickly and smoothly in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as ‘PIPA’).
Purpose for the Collection and Use of Personal Information
The company processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for any purpose other than the following, and in any case where the purpose of use changes, we will take due measures, such as obtaining additional consent according to Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Destruction Procedures and Methods of Personal Information
  1. I. The companywill immediately destroy the information when personal information becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of its retention period or achievement of the purpose of processing.
  1. II. If the personal information must be kept according to other laws even whenthe personal information retention period agreed by the information subject has elapsed or the purpose of processing the personal information is achieved, we transfer your personal information to a separate database (DB) or change the storage location to preserve it.

Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects (Users) and Methods of Exercising the Rights
  1. I. The information subject can exercise the right to access, correct, delete, or suspend processing of personal information at any time.
  2. II. You can exercise your rights in writing, e-mail, fax, etc. in accordance with Article 41, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and we will take action without delay.
  3. III. The exercise of rights may be done through an agent such as a legal representative of the information subject or a person who has been delegated. In this case, you must submit a power of attorney in the form of Attachment No. 11 of the “Personal Information Processing Method Notice (No. 2020-7)”.
  4. IV. The rights of the information subject for requests to view and suspend processing of personal information may be restricted in accordance with Article 34, Paragraph 4 and Article 37 Paragraph 2 of the Personal Information Protection Act
  5. V. The request for correction and deletionof personal information cannot be processed if the personal information is specified as a collection target in other laws.
  6. VI. The company confirms whether the person who made the request is the person or a legitimate representative, such as a request for access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing, according to the rights of the information subject.

The company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:

In accordance with Article 15, Paragraph 3 and Article 17, Paragraph 4 of the Personal Information Protection Act, additional personal information may be used and provided without the consent of the information subject in consideration of the matters pursuant to Article 14-2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act.
